Rádio Popular Boavista is a Portuguese cycling team based in Porto .
The team is an offshoot of the Portuguese top football club Boavista Porto . Sponsor was Madeinox from 2008 to 2010, before that, among others, Recer, Riberalves and, for a long time, Carvalhelho's namesake. You have been licensed as a Continental Team since 2005 and mainly take part in races on the UCI Europe Tour , especially on the Iberian Peninsula . The manager is José dos Santos, who is supported by Luis Machado. The team is using bicycles equipped the Masil mark. The team does not emerge from the Continental Team Riberalves-Alcobaca , only the sponsor has changed. In the 2008 to 2010 seasons, the team drove under the name Madeinox-Boavista after a merger with Madeinox-Bric-Loulé . From 2011 to 2012, Porto-based sportswear manufacturer Onda was the main sponsor and the team name was Onda. Since 2013 the team has been called Rádio Popular-Onda.
