Rich Boy (* 1983 in Mobile , Alabama ; actually Maurice Richards ) is an American rapper .

Career

Rich Boy dropped out of engineering from Tuskegee University to focus on music. With a few demo releases he drew the attention of producer Polow da Don (who had already produced pieces for Ludacris , Jamie Foxx and Fergie ). Rich Boy then signed a contract with Interscope Records and began working on his debut album. In the meantime, he has guest starred on one of Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace - Compilations and on some mixtapes , such as on Da Bottom, Vol. 5 by DJ Ideal and Jermaine Dupri .
