Richard D. Rogers

Richard D. Rogers (born before 1981) is an American sound engineer .

Life

Rogers began his career in 1981 with the horror film Dead & Buried as an ADR mixer and subsequently worked in various fields of sound design . In 1987 he won the Oscar in the Best Sound for Platoon category together with John Wilkinson , Charles Grenzbach and Simon Kaye . In addition to working in film, Rogers has worked extensively for US television, and has been involved in numerous television films and television series . For his work he was nominated 16 times for the Primetime Emmy between 1987 and 2008 , whereby he won the trophy three times: 1990 for Vom Haß possessed , 1993 for Stalin and 2006 for Into the West - In den Westen .
