Terre di Cosenza
Under the name Terre di Cosenza DOC (dt. The country Cosenza) are Italian white , rosé and red wines - and sparkling wines from the province of Cosenza in the region Calabria marketed. Terre di Cosenza is offered in the following types of wine:
- Terre di Cosenza Rosso (also called “Riserva”, Passito , “Spätlese”, 'vendemmia tardiva' and Novello ): at least 60% must be made from the Magliocco grape variety (locally also 'Magliocco Dolce' or 'Arvino' or 'Mantonico nero' or Called 'Lacrima' or 'Guarnaccia nera'). A maximum of 40% other red grape varieties approved for cultivation in the Calabria region may be added.

- Terre di Cosenza Rosato Spumante . Must consist of at least 60% Mantonico grape variety. A maximum of 40% red grape varieties (Greco Nero, Magliocco, Gaglioppo, Aglianico and Calabrese) may be added.
Furthermore, almost single-variety wines are offered. The grape variety mentioned in the name must be at least 85%. A maximum of 15% other analogous grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Calabria region may be added.
- Terre di Cosenza Magliocco . In addition to Magliocco, only the following other grape varieties may be used here: Greco nero, Gaglioppo, Aglianico and / or Calabrese.
