Richard Paul ( June 6, 1940 in Los Angeles - December 25, 1998 there ) was an American actor .

Life

Paul studied psychology at California State University in his native Los Angeles and at the University of Arizona in Tucson , Arizona . Shortly before his doctorate , he gave up his studies in favor of his acting career. He had been a sought-after television actor since the late 1970s and had guest appearances and supporting roles in television series such as Love Boat , Murder is Her Hobby and Herbie, The Love Bug .

In 1982 he was seen in the movie Eating Raoul , in 1996 he had a small role in the biopic Larry Flynt - The Naked Truth . In total he was seen in more than 50 productions.

From 1968 until his death he was married to Patty Oestereich. Richard Paul died of cancer on December 25, 1998 at the age of 58.
