Richard Shepard
Richard Shepard (* 1965 in New York City ) is an American film and television director who is known for his black comedies. He also wrote the script for many of his film productions.
He dropped out of the New York Film School. He has been a director since 1990 and has since been involved in more than 30 productions. Shepard won the 2007 Emmy and Directors Guild of America Awards for the pilot for Ugly Betty . Dom Hemingway was created in 2013 with Jude Law in the title role and Jeremy Thomas is the producer .
