The Richisau is a hamlet in Klöntal and belongs to the municipality of Glarus , capital of the eponymous canton .

Vorder-Richisau lies at 1102  m above sea level. M. and Hinter-Richisau at 1135  m above sea level. M. The main occupations are agriculture and the Richisau inn. The Postbus line coming from Glarus ends next door . The Richisau lies on the Chlü , which takes up the Schwialpbach next door on its left side.

The Pragelpassstrasse leads through Richisau from the Klöntalersee to the Muotatal in the canton of Schwyz .
