Rita Mühlbauer (* 1941 in Immenstadt ) is a German painter and illustrator .

Life

Rita Mühlbauer studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Xaver Fuhr and Karl Fred Dahmen and lives as a freelance painter and illustrator in Munich. In addition to numerous books, Rita Mühlbauer illustrated cover designs for book and magazine publishers, occasionally advertising and industrial contracts. She also designed posters , brochures , murals and picture cards for private and public institutions.
