Ritter von Gerstner Medal
The Ritter von Gerstner Medal has been awarded by the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft since 1976 . It is named after Franz Joseph Ritter von Gerstner . According to the statute, award winners can be persons, groups or scientific associations who have contributed to the reputation of the Sudeten German ethnic group through their achievements in the fields of natural science, research and technology .
