The Rittner Horn (also Rittner Horn , Italian Corno del Renon ) is a 2260 m high mountain on the Bozen quartz porphyry plate in the Sarntal Alps , which the south to the high plateau of Ritten surmounted. The summit on which the CAI's Rittner Horn House is located is in the municipality of Barbian in South Tyrol . Because there is no higher mountain blocking the view in the immediate vicinity, the view extends from the Großglockner (Austria) over the Dolomites to the mountains of the Ortler Alps .
The Rittner Horn ski area is a member of the Ortler Ski Arena . The associated lift systems consist of a gondola lift and two drag lifts.
