The Rivière Dartmouth is a river in the Gaspésie – Îles-de-la-Madeleine administrative region of the Canadian province of Quebec .

The Rivière Dartmouth has its origin in Lac Dartmouth , a small lake in the Monts Chic-Chocs in the center of the Gaspésie Peninsula. It initially flows north, but then turns to the east. It flows through the regional county municipality of La Côte-de-Gaspé to the Baie de Gaspé . It flows 8 km west of Gaspé into the northwest basin of the Havre de Gaspé , an estuary into which the Rivière York also flows. The Rivière Dartmouth has a length of 80 km. Its catchment area covers 984 km². The mean discharge is 25 m³ / s.

The Rivière Dartmouth is known as the Salmon River .
