Rivière Sainte-Marguerite is a river in the Côte-Nord administrative region of the Canadian province of Québec .

The river has its origin in the northeast of the canton of Hind in the regional county municipality of Caniapiscau . The river flows over a length of 306 km (316 km according to other sources) in a southerly direction through the regional county town of Sept-Rivières to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence . Its mouth is west of the city of Sept-Îles . Its catchment area covers 6190 km².
