The Rivière Sheldrake is a river in the Côte-Nord administrative region of the Canadian province of Québec .
The Rivière Sheldrake rises in a mountainous area in the south of the Labrador Peninsula between the two lakes Lac Manitou and Lac Magpie . It flows through the regional county town of Minganie in a southerly direction. It runs east of the Rivière Manitou . The river finally flows into the Gulf of St. Lawrence on the western edge of the Sheldrake settlement . There are several rapids along the river. The Rivière Sheldrake has a length of 106 km. It drains an area of 1184 km². The mean discharge is 36 m³ / s.
