The Rivière aux Brochets ( French for " pike river") is a river in the south of the Canadian province of Québec .
The Rivière aux Brochets has its origin a few kilometers across the state border in Lake Lac Carmi in the US state of Vermont . It drains this in a north-easterly direction, crosses the border to Canada and then flows through the MRC Brome-Missisquoi in a north-westerly direction. He passes through Frelighsburg and Stanbridge East , the small town of Bedford and Notre-Dame-de-Stansbridge . Here the river turns abruptly to the south. It flows past the Pike River and flows into the Baie Missisquoi in the far northeast of Lac Champlain . There is the protected area Réserve écologique de la Rivière-aux-Brochets . The river has a length of 67 km. Its catchment area covers around 630 km².
