Roßdorf am Berg is a Franconian village that belongs to Stadelhofen .

geography

The village , located in the transition zone from the Heiligenstädterflächealb to the Weismainalb , is one of ten officially named districts of the municipality of Stadelhofen in Upper Franconia . It is located about five kilometers west of Stadelhofen and is at an altitude of 485  m above sea level. NHN .

history

Up until the beginning of the 19th century, Roßdorf was under the sovereignty of the Bamberg Monastery. The dominant village and community rulership in the Franconian area was exercised by the cathedral chapter of Bamberg .
