Robeat , bourgeois Robert Wolf (born February 19, 1989 in Stuttgart ) is a German beatboxing , sound effects and oral acrobatics artist.

biography

Robeat first appeared in 2007 as part of the talent show Das Supertalent , where he finished third in the finals. In the same year he was also in the final of the 5th German Beatboxing Championship, but had to be satisfied with 2nd place compared to the Berlin beatboxer Mando. Shortly afterwards he got an appearance on stern TV under Günther Jauch , where he beatboxed the title music of the show.

Robeat started beatboxing around 2002 and started his career in 2006 as a beatboxer, oral acrobat, musician and entertainer. After taking part in the final of Das Supertalent , he began his solo career in 2007 with his program “Universal Beatbox”. This was followed by appearances at the HipHop Open , at The Dome 44 in Graz and in front of 12,000 spectators on the Radio Energy Tour in Stuttgart . After his appearances with the GOP Varieté Theater Hannover , he started the "KaiRo" project together with the popping movement artist Kai Eikermann.

In 2011 Robeat lost again the final of the meanwhile 6th German Beatbox Championship against Babeli from Marburg . Shortly afterwards, both of them had an appearance on TV total .

Together with Babeli and the beatboxers Mando and Chlorophil, the four beatboxers make up Team Germany. At the European beatboxing championship ("La Cup") they won the European championship in 2013.

In 2014 Robeat had to admit defeat to Kevin O Neal from Dortmund in the final of the 8th German Beatboxing Championship . So Robeat is currently three times national runner-up.

In May 2015, Robeat was again on TV totally in the show. The 4th Beatbox World Championship (after 2005, 2009 and 2012) took place on May 29 and 30, 2015 . There, however, Robeat did not make it beyond the so-called "Elimination Round" with 99 participants in the "Men Battle (Solo)" category. Team Germany (including Robeat), which won the European Championship title in 2013, appeared alongside eleven other teams in the so-called "Crew Elimination Round".

Filmography

Cartoon Network produces a weekly television show with Robert Wolf called "Cartoon Network Beatbox with Robeat" . The second season was filmed in 2010 and aired in 2011. Both seasons are available in the form of the “Robeat Beatbox LernDVD” with a total running time of 103 minutes.
