Freche Mädchen 2 is a German youth film from 2010 . It is the sequel to Freche Mädchen and is based on a novel by Bianka Minte-König from the book series Freche Mädchen - naughty books .

action

The three best friends Mila, Kati and Hanna share all secrets with each other. Mila has just fallen out with her boyfriend Markus. After Kati found out that her parents were separating, she didn't think much of her boyfriend Tobi anymore. Only Hanna is satisfied with her Branko. She has to, too, because he manages her and promises her a great future. However, she has to wait first, because the school choir is heading to the Bavarian mountains to prepare for the rehearsals for the graduation ceremony. The cell phones are being withdrawn and the tone is otherwise military.

But that doesn't impress the three friends. You have already planned an escape so that Kati can take part in a shoot in Munich in good time. While Kati tries to save her modeling career, Mila fails to reach her friend Markus. He spends the holidays on the horse farm with her arch enemy Vanessa. Since she doesn't make it, she doesn't give a damn about the relationship and tries her luck with the cool Antony.

Kati met Robert at the photo shoot, who later drove her back to the mountain hut. But he is apparently not a good influence if he makes her get drunk and besides, she has Tobi.

Then the friendship between the girls breaks apart after Kati tries to show Hanna that Branko is not always so nice and open when it comes to her singing. Hanna is mad at Kati afterwards and Mila does not want to take a position on the argument between the two, which only heats up the other two. Relationships also fail: Tobi finds a piece of paper on which Kati has rated him, a second with Robert. Both have the same number of points, but not the full. Markus fights with Antony in the school yard after Mila broke off contact with him out of jealousy of Vanessa and evades him. Branko is angry because Hanna wants to stop singing because she doesn't enjoy it anymore, when he has done so much for her career. It doesn't help that Kati's parents get along again.

In the end, the common misfortune welds the friends together again, now they are all singles again. At the school performance for which the choir had practiced, Tobi and Kati as well as Markus and Mila reconcile and get back together. When everyone is on stage for the end, Branko stands behind the stage with a red rose and waits for Hanna. At the end of the day, the three reconciled couples celebrate a great graduation party.

Reviews

“Plain youth book adaptation with superimposed dramatic conflicts. The stylistic idiosyncrasy of the previous film only occasionally shimmers and gives way to decorative landscape panoramas. "

“Even if the story is pretty slack, the film is well done. The film team around producer Ulrich Limmer did a great job here. The dramaturgy of the Bavarian mountain landscape, the chaotic graduation party or the change of scenery between town and country are just a few examples of the clean and sensitive production. Naughty Girls 2 uses too many Hollywood clichés of a so-called typical girl's everyday life, but vague memories of this time suggest that it was actually like that: Every girl is a little drama queen with starry airs. And every life is somehow ripe for Hollywood. "

“Even if absolutely nothing new is being told here, the fresh young actors, who sometimes even overtake the renowned mimes, are convincing as in the forerunner. Here again, director Ute Wieland proves her flair for punchlines. Actually: as usual! "
