Robert Ferrigno

Robert Ferrigno (* 1947 in Fort Lauderdale , Florida ) is an American writer of suspense novels.

life and work

Ferrigno was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale , South Florida , into an Italian family . After graduating in Philosophy ( Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton ), Film and Creative Writing (Bowling Green University in Ohio), he spent five years playing poker , a passion of Ferrigno. He lived in an area with high crime rates and met many people who later appeared as characters in his novels. His writing career began with his first novel, The Horse Latitudes , published by Time Magazine asThe season's fictional debut was praised.

After eight detective and thriller novels that were published between 1990 and 2004, the " Assassin - Trilogy ", written after September 11, 2001, is set in a fictional, Islam- dominated USA after Nine-Eleven . His Assassin trilogy was nominated for the 2009 Edgar Allan Poe Award - Best Novel category.

Robert Ferringo lives with his family in Kirkland in the US state of Washington on the northwest coast of the Pacific Ocean .
