Robert Harsch-Niemeyer

Robert Harsch-Niemeyer (born June 9, 1932 in Halle (Saale) , † July 9, 2011 ) was a German publisher .

Life

Robert Harsch-Niemeyer, born in Halle an der Saale in 1932, completed an apprenticeship as a publishing bookseller and joined the family business in 1955. In 1960 he became a member of the management and since 1964 has been the fourth generation to run Max Niemeyer Verlag in Tübingen , which was taken over by Verlag Walter de Gruyter in 2006 .

Harsch-Niemeyer was committed to the philosophical works of Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger .
