Robert Michael Leeshock (born December 13, 1961 in Clifton , New Jersey , USA ) is an American actor .

life and career

Leeshock moved to New York in the 1980s to pursue his acting career. In New York he took scenic lessons from Wynn Handman and had acting lessons using the acting technique developed by Sanford Meisner. He also attended courses in improvisation , voice training and speaking technique .

Before he devoted himself entirely to a full-time acting career, however, Leeshock completed an electrical engineering degree with a focus on semiconductor electronics at New York's Cornell University , from which he graduated in 1989 with a diploma.

In New York, Leeshock played at several theaters, including the SoHo Repertory Theater , the Samuel Beckett Theater , the West Bank Cafe Downstairs Theater and Actor's Factory , and had engagements with several theater companies.

Leeshock lived in Los Angeles from 1993 to 1996 and continued his acting career.

From 1993 he regularly took on film and television roles. In 1993 he appeared in Elysian Fields and Me & Veronica . From 1993 to 1994 he appeared in several episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 . In 1995 he played James Lambert in Empire . Three years later he appeared as Eddie Banks in several episodes of the television series Springfield Story . In his television roles, Leeshock was frequently used in the role of the charming and handsome lover.

He is best known for his television role in the series Earth: Final Conflict , in which he played the role of Liam Kincaid from 1998 to 2001. Leeshock started with Earth: Final Conflict in 1998 . He replaced the main actor Kevin Kilner . After the fourth season, he left the series and only returned for the series finale.

In 2005 he was cast on the long-running series Love, Lies, Passion in the role of Bruce Bartlett, Nash Brennan's business partner , portrayed by Forbes March . In 2009 he starred in an episode of Criminal Intent .
