Robert Nearn
Robert Nearn (born April 24, 1967 in London ) is a British racing driver .
Career in motorsport
Robert Nearn is the son of Graham Nearn , the founder of Caterham Cars . He competed in GT and sports car races from 1994 . He made his first appearance in an international race at the Daytona 24-hour race in 1994 , which he finished in 18th place overall. In 1996 he made his debut in a Porsche 911 GT2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and finished the race in 14th place overall. In total, he competed four times in Le Mans and just as often in the 12-hour race at Sebring .
In 2010 he mainly drove in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series and has been a regular starter in the Blancpain Endurance Series since 2012 .
