Robert VII (Auvergne)

Robert VII (* around 1282; † October 13, 1325 in Saint-Geraldus ) was Count of Auvergne and Boulogne from 1314 . He was the son of Count Robert VI. and the Beatrice de Montgascon, Dame de Montgascon .

He married on June 25, 1303 Paris first wife Blanche of Bourbon, called Blanche Clermont , daughter of Robert of France , Count of Clermont-en-Beauvaisis and Beatrix of Burgundy , Dame de Bourbon. From this marriage comes:

  • Wilhelm XII. († August 6, 1332), Count of Auvergne and Boulogne from 1325

Probably in December 1312 he married Maria von Dampierre (* after 1286; † 1350 at the "Octave de la fête St Georges", i.e. probably on April 30th), Vice Countess of Châteaudun , daughter of William IV of Dampierre , called Wilhelm ohne Land, Lord of Dendermonde and Crèvecœur (a son of Guido I , Count of Flanders ), and Alix of Clermont.
