Roberto Eduardo Carboni (born April 8, 1985 in Bernal , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player .

Roberto Carboni is a left midfielder who was born in Bernal, Argentina and made his professional football debut for Club Atlético Independiente in the 2004 squad. During his first season for Independiente, Carboni only played two games. In the summer of 2005 he moved to the All Boys in Primera B Metropolitana, where he was allowed to play a much larger number of games.

In 2006, Carboni moved to Venezuela , where he signed a contract with Estudiantes de Mérida . In the 2007/08 season he played for another team in the Primera División Venezolana, Deportivo Anzoátegui.

After spending six months of his career at Deportivo Cuenca, Carboni went to Europe. In January 2009, he signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the first division club FC Chernomorets Burgas . He signed a contract with the Bulgarian club after leaving the Ecuadorian Deportivo Cuenca , where he spent six months of his career. He made his debut for the first division club on March 7, 2009 in the game against Botew Plovdiv in the 16th round of the 2008/09 season. In September 2010, his contract with the club from Burgas was terminated.

Carboni was without a club for a few months before the Cypriot first division side APOP Kinyras Peyias took him on in early 2011 . After the relegation of his team at the end of the season , he left Cyprus again. He moved to Lobos de la BUAP in the Mexican Liga de Ascenso . In early 2012 he joined the Peruvian first division club FBC Melgar . After the end of the 2012 season he was again without a club for half a year before the Bolivian first division team Nacional Potosí signed him. Since the beginning of 2014 he has been playing for CD Luis Ángel Firpo in El Salvador.
