Roberto Francisco Ferrería Paz (born June 5, 1953 in Montevideo , Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Campos .

Life

Roberto Francisco Ferrería Paz was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre on December 16, 1989 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on December 19, 2007 auxiliary bishop in Niterói and titular bishop of Accia . The Archbishop of Niterói, Alano Maria Pena OP , donated him episcopal ordination on February 22nd of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Dadeus Grings , Archbishop of Porto Alegre, and his predecessor Altamiro Rossato CSsR . As a motto he chose IN LIBERTATEM VOCATIS ESTIS .

He was appointed Bishop of Campos on June 8, 2011, and was introduced to the office on July 30 of the same year.
