The Roberts Peak is a turn 1800 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . In the center of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises 16 km east of Mount Jumper on the northern flank of the Ellen Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1996 after Carol A. Roberts, deputy director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) division for polar programs from 1988 to 1996, who had represented US interests within the Antarctic treaty system on behalf of the NSF .
