Svjatez ( Ukrainian Святець ; Russian Святец ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnytskyi with about 2200 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1420, was named Manujilske ( Мануїльське ) from 1960 to 1992 . Svyatez is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the west of Teofipol district , which also includes the villages of Lyssohirka ( Лисогірка , ⊙ ) with about 680 inhabitants and Marjanivka ( Мар'янівка , ⊙ ) with about 330 inhabitants.
The village is located on the bank of the Kalynka ( Калинка ), an 18 km long right tributary of the Horyn , 10 km west of the Teofipol district center and about 90 km northwest of the Khmelnytsky oblast center . Territorial road T – 20–12 runs through the village .
