Robin Fox (artist agent)

Robin Fox (born July 15, 1913 in London , † January 20, 1971 in Cuckfield , Sussex ) was a British acting agent.

Life

Robin Fox served in the Royal Artillery during World War II , where he rose from cadet to major and was awarded the Military Cross in 1945 . In the 1960s, Fox was a senior partner in the Robin Fox Organization . He also became Chairman of the English Stage Company in 1970 .

His clients have included John Mills , Paul Scofield , Julie Christie , Marianne Faithfull , Maggie Smith, and Ronald Reagan .

Fox was married to Angela Muriel Darita Worthington, the daughter of screenwriter Frederick Lonsdale . He was the father of actors Edward and James Fox and film producer Robert Fox , and the grandfather of Emilia Fox , Laurence Fox and Freddie Fox .
