Emilia Rose Elizabeth Fox (born July 31, 1974 in London ) is a British actress and film producer .

life and career

Emilia Fox comes from an acting family: her mother is Joanna David , her father Edward Fox , her uncle James Fox and her 15 years younger brother is Freddie Fox . She received her education from Bryanston School and her university degree from the University of Oxford . In addition to her mother tongue, she also speaks German and French.

Fox's best-known role was that of Jeannie Hurst in the remake of the television series Randall & Hopkirk - Detective Agency with a Ghost . She also played in various films , including in 2002 in The Pianist and 2005 in Mord im Pfarrhaus . After the departure of the main character portrayed by Amanda Burton from the series Silent Witness in 2004, Fox was accepted as a new female member of the pathology team around the new lead actor William Gaminara . From 2009 to 2011 she made guest appearances in the BBC production Merlin - The New Adventures in the role of Morgause .

Between 2005 and 2009, Fox was married to fellow actor Jared Harris . In November 2010 she gave birth to a daughter.
