Robin Friesenbichler (born May 24, 1996 in Weiz ) is an Austrian football player . He has been playing at SC Weiz in the third-class Regionalliga Mitte since the 2016/17 season .

Career

Friesenbichler started playing soccer at the local sports club in Weiz , his birthplace, and followed his older brother. He later played in the youth department of SK Sturm Graz and then - until 2014 - for the second team of TSV Hartberg .

He made his debut in the first division , the second highest division in Austrian football, on May 23, 2014 (36th matchday) - one day before his 18th birthday and still as a member of the second team - in the 1-0 defeat in Away game of the first team against First Vienna FC . In the following season he moved up to the first team and was used on the second, eighth, 17th and 18th matchdays, as well as once in the first round of the ÖFB Cup . At the end of the season, TSV Hartberg rose from bottom of the table in the third-class Regionalliga Mitte .

Friesenbichler then moved to the second team of SK Sturm Graz , the league competitor of his predecessor club, for which he played 21 games and scored five goals. In the following season he was obliged by the third division club SC Weiz , for which he played 22 point games in his first season and scored seven goals.
