The Rodalberhof is a part of the local community Lemberg in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Südwestpfalz .

location

The hamlet is located about three kilometers southwest of the core town not far from the district boundary to Pirmasens . It lies on the western edge of the Wasgau , as the southern part of the Palatinate Forest and the adjoining northern part of the Vosges are also called. In the immediate vicinity is the source of the Rodalb , which also gave the hamlet its name.

history

The Rodalber Hof also historically belonged to Lemberg, which was located in the Lemberg office of the same name and there in the Lemberg official school . The office - and thus also the Rodalber Hof - initially belonged to the County of Zweibrücken-Bitsch , from 1570 to the County of Hanau-Lichtenberg , from 1736 to the Landgraviate of Hesse-Darmstadt , from 1794 to France , from 1816 to Bavaria ( Rhine district ) and from 1946 Rhineland-Palatinate .
