Rodrigo Orlando Cabrera Cuéllar (born March 14, 1938 in Teotepeque ) is a Salvadoran clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Santiago de María .

Life

Rodrigo Orlando Cabrera Cuéllar was ordained a priest on January 6, 1962 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Santiago de María on December 23, 1983. The Apostolic Nuncio in Costa Rica and El Salvador , Archbishop Lajos Kada , donated him episcopal ordination on February 11 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Arturo Rivera y Damas SDB , Archbishop of San Salvador , and José Eduardo Alvarez Ramírez CM , Bishop of San Miguel and Military Vicar of El Salvador .

On January 4, 2016, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
