Roger Joseph Foys (born July 27, 1945 in Chicago , USA ) is Bishop of Covington .
Life
Roger Joseph Foys received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Steubenville on May 16, 1973 .
On May 31, 2002, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Covington. The Archbishop of Louisville , Thomas Cajetan Kelly OP , donated him episcopal ordination on July 15 of that year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Steubenville, Gilbert Ignatius Sheldon , and the bishop of Baton Rouge , Robert William Muench .
