Rohan Anthony Marley

Rohan Anthony Marley (born May 19, 1972 in England ) is a Jamaican musician and son of the reggae musician Bob Marley and his lover Janet Hunt (some sources name Janet Dunn).

biography

Marley lived with his mother in England for the first four years, but since she was not taking good care of him, his father Bob and his wife Rita adopted him . He attended the same school as his half-brothers Ziggy and Stephen , but was negatively perceived as a rowdy , whereupon he was sent to his grandmother in Miami , where he graduated from high school. During this time he played for the American football team at the University of Miami Hurricanes as a linebacker , but has since retired from active sports. In the 1990s he was accused in Miami of attempting to run over a police officer with a borrowed truck.

Marley runs various music projects with siblings Ziggy, Stephen, and others; He was also heard on drums on Hills Unplugged album and on his brother Julian Marley's album Lion In The Morning . He is one of the directors and representatives of House of Marley, a company that makes headphones and audio systems.

Marley has five children with his longtime partner, R&B singer Lauryn Hill ; He has two other children from his marriage to high school girlfriend Geraldine Khawly.
