Rolf Kirsch

Rolf Kirsch (born June 27, 1944 ) is a former German soccer player . He played in the position of goalkeeper and worked as an interim football coach after his career .

Kirsch initially played for FC Schalke 04 , VfR 07 Limburg , SC Opel Rüsselsheim and FC Bayern Hof before moving to SSV Reutlingen 05 in 1973 . The SSV was relegated to the 1st Amateur League Black Forest-Bodensee at this time . In the 1973/74 season , Kirsch took part as a Württemberg amateur champion with the Reutlingen team in the final round of the 1974 German amateur championship and was there with the SSV German amateur champion . In the following amateur league season , Rolf Kirsch was in the 1st amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee with SSV Reutlingen champion and therefore reached the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga . With 5 wins in 6 group games, Kirsch made the promotion there with his team perfect. Kirsch was in the second division season 1975/76 in 13 professional games in the goal of SSV Reutlingen. In the remaining Reutlingen season games, Kirsch's rivals Joachim Grüninger and Dieter Gust were entrusted with the task of goalkeeper. At the end of this season he was relegated to the 1st amateur league with the SSV.

After Reutlingen's head coach Lothar Emmerich resigned at the end of September 1986 , Rolf Kirsch took over the first team of SSV Reutlingen 05 in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg for a month as interim coach in the 1986/87 season until Lorenz-Günther Köstner was hired . He then worked as an arbitrator.
