Rolf Kuhnert
Rolf Kuhnert (born March 4, 1932 in Berlin ) is a German pianist and composer .
From 1950 to 1956 Kuhnert studied composition with Heinz Tiessen and piano with Hans-Erich Riebensahm at the Berlin University of Music and piano with Yvonne Lefébure in Paris. Until 1970 he was a member of the Neue Musik Berlin group as a pianist and composer. He then became a professor at the Berlin University of Music.
In 1958 he received the 2nd price of the Kranichstein Music Prize (piano).
