Peter Hill (pianist)
Peter Hill (* 1948 ) is a British pianist and author.
Hill studied at Oxford University and with Cyril Smith at the Royal College of Music in London and with Nadia Boulanger . In 1974 he was awarded the Kranichstein Music Prize (piano). Until 2009 he was a professor at the University of Sheffield . In 2011 he became a Fellow of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He is considered a Messiaen expert.
