Roman Kondelik (born May 7, 1972 in České Budějovice , Czechoslovakia ) is a former German - Czech ice hockey goalkeeper who was under contract with the Hanover Indians between 1999 and 2010 .

Career

Kondelik began his career in 1991 at IHC Písek , for which he initially played for a year. He then moved to HC České Budějovice in the Czech Extraliga , but only played two games there. In 1994 the goalkeeper returned to IHC Písek and stayed there until 1997 before he was signed by the French first division club HC Reims .

After a year Kondelik moved to Eintracht Braunschweig , where he was in the box in 49 games. From 1999 the 1.91 m tall and 92 kg heavy goalkeeper played in the men's team of the Hanover Indians . After the 2008/09 season , in which he made promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with the Indians, he officially ended his career, but returned to the play-downs at the end of the 2009/10 season as a replacement for the injured Jan Münster in the case back. In the future he wants to act as an ice hockey referee .

In the 2010/11 season Roman Kondelik played in the Oberliga Ost for ERV Chemnitz 07 , then between 2012 and 2017 for ESV Waldkirchen in the Bavarian regional league.
