Ronald Möbus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ronald Wolf Möbus , also known under the pseudonyms Hellsturm and Wolf , is a German right-wing extremist and musician .

Life

Möbus is the son of the former CDU member of the Thuringian state parliament Walter Möbus and the older brother of Hendrik Möbus .

Ronald Möbus published in the early 1990s, black metal - Fanzine Infernus that in the wake of media attention to Möbus' younger brother Hendrik and the murder of Sondershausen because of its controversial content itself attracted attention. There were 4 editions that have since been reprinted in book form.

According to his own account, Ronald Möbus was one of the founding members of the band Absurd , and after a few weeks he handed over the position of drummer to Hendrik "in order to integrate him into the band and then wanted to play bass". However, it can only be heard on two demo cassettes. Möbus, however, played in the bands Sacrifice Slaughtered Jesus, Wolfsburg (together with Richard Neu from Silencelike Death Productions, Siren, Lestat, Nidhöggsburg and the fanzine Viking Force ) and Heldentum and translated the text of an absurd song for Abyssic Hate from Australia.

After Hendrik Möbus was released from prison, he and Ronald ran the record company Darker Than Black Records and attracted attention by taking photos together in the former Auschwitz concentration camp , including with Celtic cross and Reich war flags and in front of the cremation ovens. Their activities were viewed as an attempt to politicize the black metal scene and resulted in their being listed in the 1999 Thuringian constitution protection report.

In the Absurd publications from 2001 onwards, Ronald Möbus replaced the original singer Sebastian Schauseil.

In 2003 Möbus' business premises were searched by officials from the Thuringian State Criminal Police Office, and the Gera public prosecutor's office determined that he was supporting the banned German section of Blood & Honor for supporting a prohibited association .

Ronald Möbus temporarily ran the right-wing music label Nebelfee Klangwerke together with his former partner Heike Langguth . The label trading today under the name Nebelklang, which, in addition to Absurd, sells a number of other right-wing extremist, but also apolitical bands, is today registered with Robert Ullrich from Gera.
