Ronny Kujat (born August 5, 1974 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Kujat played in his youth at BSG Chemie Torgau and 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig and its successor VfB Leipzig . At the end of his first season as a professional in 1993/1994 , he was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga with VfB Leipzig without being in the first team , but established himself as an important member of the squad in the second division of the trade fair city in the following four years. In 1998 he moved to Chemnitzer FC , which he secured promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with his goal in the relegation game against VfL Osnabrück in 1999 and left in the summer of 2001. After half a year at FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt , he moved to FC Sachsen Leipzig at the turn of the year 2001/02 . 2005 was accused in the fraud trial to the referee Robert Hoyzer to be involved.

Kujat was then released. However, the suspicion of involvement in the manipulation could not be confirmed and the dismissal was therefore unfounded. The club then concluded a settlement with Kujat. After his release from FC Sachsen, he played for SSV Markranstädt . In the 2009/2010 season he played at RB Leipzig , who took over the league start right of SSV Markranstädt. After the season he ended his career as a player. Kujat has been working in the youth department of RB Leipzig since then.
