Ross Case

Ross Case (born November 1, 1951 in Toowoomba ) is a retired Australian tennis player .

He won two Grand Slam titles in doubles in his career . With his compatriot Geoff Masters he won the 1974 Australian Open and 1977 Wimbledon . In addition, he was four more times in the finals: in 1972 and 1976 he and Masters lost in the finals of the Australian Open, and in 1976 at Wimbledon. 1979 Ross Case reached the final at the French Open with Phil Dent . At the US Open he never got past the quarterfinals. In total, he won 20 tournaments in doubles and five other titles in singles. He celebrated his greatest success in the individual with the 1974 semi-finals at the Australian Open.

Between 1971 and 1979, Ross Case completed five games for the Australian Davis Cup team . He won three of his five singles games while losing in doubles on both occasions.
