The Ross River is a river in the southeast of the Australian Territory Northern Territory .

geography

River course

The river has its source in Trephina Gorge Nature Park in the MacDonnell Ranges east of Alice Springs and flows southeast from there. Not far from its source, it crosses under the Ross Highway . At the settlement Ross River it turns its course to the south and flows north of the settlement Todd River into the Todd River .
