Rossön is a locality ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Jämtland County and the historic province of Ångermanland .

The place Rossön is located about 50 kilometers in a northeastern direction from the main town of Strömsund . The Stenåldersmuseum and Bodums Church are located in the village, which has about 350 inhabitants. Rossön station is on the Hoting – Forsmo railway line , but is no longer used for regular passenger traffic; Länsveg 346 leads through Rossön.

Until 1951, Rossön was the seat of the municipality of Bodum .
