Hoting is a locality ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of County of Jämtland and the historic province of Ångermanland in the municipality of Strömsund .
Hoting is a traffic junction between Dorotea and Strömsund on the European route 45 . The Inlandsbahn and the Hoting – Forsmo line meet at the station . In addition, Hoting is an industrial location, primarily in metal processing. The place is known nationwide for its car museum . Until 1966, Hoting was the seat of the municipality of Tåsjö .
