Marius Bezykornovas (born August 22, 1976 in Kybartai ) is a Lithuanian football player who plays for FC Šiauliai in the Lithuanian A Lyga . For Lithuania he played in the national team from 1997 to 2003. He is also an assistant trainer.
Life
His father Anatolijus Bezykornovas played soccer in the "Sveikata" team.
Marius Bezykornovas studied at the Kristijonas Donelaitis Middle School Kybartai up to 8th grade . He played football from the age of 6. His first coach was Gediminas Jarmala. Bezykornovas attended the Panevėžys boarding school and then studied at Lietuvos olimpinis sporto centras in Vilnius . After graduating from high school, Bezykornovas completed his studies as a football coach at the Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademija in Kaunas . Then he studied kinesitherapy at the Lietuvos sporto universitetas .
Career
Bezykornovas started his career at FBK Kaunas , where he was active until 2004 and made over two hundred games. After some club changes to Lithuanian and Latvian clubs, he plays in Estonia for JK Trans Narva . At the club from Narva , the midfielder made a strong start to the 2011 season and was honored in the person of Martin Reim with the player of the month March award. The decisive factor was the game against Ajax Lasnamäe where he was able to score 3 goals.
Bezykornovas played for Lithuania in the U-18, U-21 and senior national teams.
From 2015 to February 2016 Bezykornovas was the head coach of FK Lietava Jonava . He has been an assistant trainer since March 2016.
