Rossum is a church village in the Twente region and the municipality of Dinkelland in the Dutch province of Overijssel .

Rossum is north of Oldenzaal and south of Ootmarsum . On January 1, 2017, the place had 2,325 inhabitants. Due to the regional reform of January 1, 2001, the village belongs to the municipality of Weerselo . In the past, Rossum was one of Weerselo's many farmers' markets .

The show jumping world champion of the 2006 World Equestrian Games , Jos Lansink , and the volleyball player Elles Leferink were born in Rossum.
