The Rottenberg is 408  m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Aschaffenburg .

The Rottenberg lies between the places Rottenberg and Eichenberg . The north-western mountain spur is called the Rehkopf (395 m). On top of the mountain rotting the topographically highest point of the village is subdistrict of Hoesbach . To the west is the Klosterberg ; in the southwest of the Graefenberg . The Rottenberg is the highest of the three mountains that surround the village of Rottenberg and are also included in its coat of arms. The Eichenberger Mühle is located on the eastern slopes of the Eichenberger Bach .
