Rudi Lotze

Rudi Lotze (born October 29, 1921 in Hann. Münden ; † October 17, 1971 in Nienburg ) was a German trade unionist and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending primary school, Lotze completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. From 1942 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier .

Lotze joined the union in 1946. From 1947 to 1950 he was DGB youth secretary in Hann. Münden, 1951/52 DGB secretary for the Braunschweig - Wolfenbüttel area and from 1953 to 1964 DGB district chairman in Nienburg / Weser. In 1964 he became regional head of the trade union trade, banks and insurance in Hanover . His area of ​​responsibility was responsible for the areas of Lower Saxony and Bremen .

Political party

Lotze joined the SPD in 1946 and was a member of the district executive committee of the SPD Hanover.

MP

Lotze was a council member of the city of Nienburg from 1961 to 1965 and at the same time a member of the district council of the Nienburg district . In the federal election in 1965 he was elected to the German Bundestag , to which he belonged until his death. He was always drawn into parliament via the state list of the SPD Lower Saxony.
