Rudnyky ( Ukrainian Рудники ; Russian Рудники Rudniki , Polish Rudniki ) is a village in the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 3200 inhabitants (2001).
Rudnyky is the only village of the 39.54 km² district council of the same name in the south of Mykolaiv Rajon .
In the settlement founded in the historic Galicia in the 17th century, iron ore was mined and iron smelted in earlier times, which gives the village its name.
The village is located on the T – 14–02 territorial road 14 km southwest of the Mykolaiv district center and 50 km south of the Lviv oblast center . The border of the village in the west is the Kolodnyzja ( Колодниця ), a 69 km long tributary of the Dniester , and to the east of the village runs the trunk road M 06 / E 471 . There are fish ponds in the north of Rudnyky.
