Rudolf Fischer (born January 20, 1940 in Bremen ) is a former German lawyer and politician ( FDP ). From 1982 to 1989 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Life

Fischer first attended elementary and middle school in Tostedt and then switched to grammar school in Scheeßel . He passed his Abitur in 1959 and began studying law and political science in Marburg / Lahn and Munich . He passed the first state examination in law in 1964 at the Frankfurt / Main Higher Regional Court . He spent his legal traineeship mainly in the Higher Regional Court district of Celle and completed his legal training with the second state examination in 1967 before the State Judicial Examination Office at the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice in Hanover . In 1968 he began his work as an independent lawyer in Buxtehude and was appointed notary in 1971. In 1988 Fischer switched to the service of State Secretary in the Lower Saxony Ministry for Federal and European Affairs, where he worked until 1990.

Career

Fischer became a member of the FDP as early as 1963. He became chairman of the FDP district association Elbe / Weser and deputy FDP state chairman in Lower Saxony. Fischer was a deputy member of the administrative board at Stadtsparkasse Buxtehude and a member of the supervisory board at Technologie-Zentrums Buxtehude GmbH. Fischer was also a member of the board of trustees of the St. Paulus Protestant Kindergarten. In 1974 Fischer became a councilor in Buxtehude; he has been chairman of the FDP parliamentary group for many years. Between 1976 and 1981 he was a member of the district council and first deputy district administrator of the Stade district.

Public offices

Fischer became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1982 to January 18, 1989 in the tenth and eleventh electoral terms. Between June 22, 1986 and January 18, 1989 he was deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group.
