Rudolf Glagow
Rudolf Glagow (born February 12, 1929 in Berlin ; † December 24, 2015 there ) was a German civil engineer , university professor and politician (SPD) and member of parliament in Berlin.
Life
Rudolf Glagow was a trained carpenter and studied civil engineering and economics at the Technical University of Berlin . He was initially a lecturer at the State Engineering Academy for Building in Berlin, from 1971 as a professor at the TFH Berlin (since 2008 Beuth University of Technology Berlin ).
Rudolf Glagow was one of the founding members of the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein and has been an honorary board member since 1969 as well as on the purchasing committee.
For the SPD, he was initially a member of the district assembly in the Tempelhof district from 1967 to 1971 , then a member of the Berlin House of Representatives :
- 6th legislative term 1971–1975
- 7th electoral term 1975–1979
- 9th electoral term 1981–1985 , Glagow moved up in September 1982 for Olaf Sund , who became President of the State Labor Office in North Rhine-Westphalia.
He was married to Christa Glagow; the marriage has two children.
